A trip down to Dorset last weekend resulted in another new addition to the species list - the Bar-headed Goose. There were only two, found amongst a group of Canada Geese at Lodmoor. Bar-headed geese can fly higher than Mount Everest making them the world's highest flying birds. These particular birds, whilst living in the wild, are presumed to be escaped from captivity.
